Low-Impact Development is recognised by the Welsh Planning system as playing a key role in the transition towards a low-carbon society.
There is local planning guidance which varies from County to County. The most advanced being Pembrokeshire's policy 52.
There is now national planning policy in place across Wales - One Planet Development. This policy applies across the nation.
